Fit Guide
How to Measure
Suits
· Stand up straight with your arms relaxed at your sides.
· Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, just under your armpits and across your shoulder blades.
· Make sure the tape is snug but not tight, and parallel to the floor.
Trousers
· Find your natural waistline, which is typically just above the belly button.
· Wrap the measuring tape around your waist at this point. The tape should be snug but not tight, and level all the way around.
Shirts
· Wrap the measuring tape around the base of your neck, where a shirt collar would naturally sit.
· Allow for some breathing room by inserting one finger between your neck and the tape.
Suit Collar Styles
We offer three main types of suit collar styles: Mono Lapel, Peak Lapel, and Shawl Lapel Collars. Each style has its distinct look and is suitable for different occasions.
- Mono Lapel is the most common and versatile lapel style. It features a small, triangular cut-out where the collar meets the lapel ?
- Peak Lapel is more formal and features a pointed lapel that juts out towards the shoulders. The peak lapel is wider and has a sharp, upward point.
- Shawl Lapel has a smooth, rounded edge without a notch or peak. It’s commonly found on tuxedos and dinner jackets.
Care Guide
Suits
We recommend dry cleaning your suit to maintain its quality. Always store your suit in a garment bag to protect it from dust and moths. Avoid frequent washing, as this can damage the fabric.
Trousers
Most trousers can be washed at home, but delicate fabrics like wool or satin may benefit from dry cleaning.
- Hanging: Hang trousers by the waistband or use clip hangers to hang them by the hem. This prevents creases and wrinkles.
- Folding: If you must fold, do so along the natural crease line and avoid stacking too many pairs to prevent pressure marks.
Shirts
Machine washable, Use cold or warm water on a gentle cycle.
Button up the shirt and turn it inside out to protect the detailing during the wash.
